BGCA Raffle Dinner
Join the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena, and 300 of our closest friends, for our Signature Spring Gala on Friday, May 17th, 6:00-11:00pm at the APLEX.
The Signature Spring Gala is the primary annual fundraising event to help the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena fulfill our mission: to enable and inspire all young people, especially those that need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Our organization relies solely on community support, grants, and our annual fundraising activities for operation. The Signature Spring Gala is our single most impactful fundraising event of the year. Last year’s event raised just under $25,000 for the Club and the over 1,200 youth we served!
Tickets to this fantastic event are $100 and include admission for two, dinner, open bar, live and silent auctions, and one entry into our cash raffle. Last year’s winner took home $3,000!
To purchase tickets, stop into the Boys & Girls Club (located at 601 River St.) any time Monday through Friday between 9:30am – 6:00pm. Cash, check (made payable to the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena), and credit card payment is accepted.
The Boys & Girls Club of Alpena is a youth-serving organization that has been operating in our community since 1926. We serve youth ages 6-18 with the goal to provide: a safe place for them to grow; mentoring relationships; educational assistance and resources; leadership development and volunteer opportunities; and, vital programming to help youth become productive and responsible pillars in our community. Our Club is committed to helping provide a safe and secure experience for youth, as well as serving as mentors who have the best interest of the youth at heart. In today’s world, young people are faced with enormous challenges: from poverty, to the high school dropout crisis to an obesity epidemic. The headlines remind us every day that we live in a dangerous world that puts too many young people at serious risk.
