MISSION
Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Our core promise is to provide a safe environment and have a positive impact on their lives. Our core promise to the communities we serve is to uphold high ethical standards in all areas, especially in overseeing finances, collecting membership and participation data, being good stewards of the donor dollar, and representing ourselves to the public.
VISION
We envision a future in which the Boys & Girls Club Movement is a catalyst for an age in which success is within reach of every child, and whole generations of children are inspired to a level of civic engagement not seen since the founding of our nation.

2025 GREAT FUTURES GALA
For nearly a century, the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena has provided opportunity, guidance, and community to local youth. From its beginnings as a safe after-school space, the Club has grown into a vital movement shaping thousands of young lives.
As we mark the 99th Annual Great Futures Gala, we honor our past while looking ahead to the milestone 100th year—celebrating a legacy of resilience, support, and hope through changing times. From mentoring and meals to leadership development and friendship, the Club has been a constant source of stability for those who need it most.
This celebration recognizes the countless staff, volunteers, and supporters who made 99 years possible while reaffirming our commitment to building even greater futures for the next generation.
Here’s to the past, the promise of our 100th year, and every child yet to come.
